EDUCATION

A product of the public school system, Ware pursued his undergraduate studies at Stanford University, where he worked his way through school and was the recipient of the Thomas Barclay Endowed Scholarship. He graduated
from Stanford with an A.B. in Political Science (with departmental honors) and a minor in Philosophy.

He received his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law and was the recipient of the Albert P. Jones Endowed Scholarship. While in law school, Ware participated and excelled in numerous advocacy competitions.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Mr. Wendell has gained valuable professional experience in a variety of arenas.

He is honored to serve as an adjunct professor at The University of Texas School of Law, where he teaches law students trial and advocacy skills.

In addition to his trial practice, Ware advocates on behalf of Texans as the Director of Legislative Affairs for Texas Watch, a statewide consumer research and advocacy organization. Through his work with Texas Watch, Ware fights at the Capitol and before state agencies to make the pledge of "justice for all" a reality for hardworking Texans and their families. He has been quoted in numerous articles in leading newspapers and trade journals regarding pressing public policy matters.

Ware had the privilege to serve as one of a select group of advocates appointed to represent the interests of consumers on a national and state level. While serving as a Designated Consumer Representative for the
National Association of Insurance Commissioners, he worked to ensure that policyholders are treated fairly by insurance companies. Ware also fought for the rights of Texas homeowners while serving as a member of a state task force on residential arbitration.

He has also served the public as the Legislative Aide to a senior Texas state representative and Chief of Staff to a state senator. During his time working in the legislature, Ware had the unique opportunity to work on major legislation of statewide importance.

LICENSE, ADMISSIONS, AND TRAINING

Ware V. Wendell is licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas and is admitted to practice law in all state courts.

Mr. Wendell is also a trained mediator, having exceeded the number of hours required by statute to resolve disputes in Texas (see Section 154.052, Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code). He has successfully mediated court-referred cases, bringing resolution and closure to disputes for litigants.

Mr. Wendell has served on the Board of Directors for Texas Folklife, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and presenting our state's traditional arts.

He has also contributed to the development of his profession by coaching and mentoring law students through The University of Texas School of Law's
Board of Advocates.


PERSONAL AND FAMILY LIFE

In his spare time, Ware enjoys making music, painting, reading, taking in the outdoors, and spending every moment possible with his daughter.

His wife and college sweetheart, Robyn, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has served the public at a community health clinic in Austin.
